Privacy policy
Last updated August 31, 2026 · Windish Labs LLC
This policy explains what personal information Windish Labs LLC (“Windish Labs”, “we”, “us”) collects through windishlabs.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers this website only. Websites we host for our clients are governed by those clients’ own privacy policies.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to answer you and to keep this site working.
- Information you send us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, any company name you provide, and the contents of your message.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser user agent, requested page and timestamp — to deliver pages and to detect abuse.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not buy contact lists.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and does not build a profile of your activity across other sites. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, we will say so here before turning it on.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and, if it goes further, to prepare a quote or contract.
- To provide and support services you have engaged us for.
- To keep the site secure and to investigate abuse or technical faults.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We will not add you to a marketing list from a contact-form submission. If we ever start sending a newsletter, it will be opt-in and separately consented to.
Service providers
We use a small number of vendors to run the business, and they process personal information only on our instructions:
- Hosting and content delivery — to serve this website and our clients’ websites.
- Email delivery — to send and receive the messages you send us.
- Payments and accounting — for client invoicing. This applies to customers, not to visitors of this site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to two years so we have context if you come back, then deleted. Records connected to a signed contract — agreements, invoices and the correspondence around them — are kept for as long as the law requires us to retain business and tax records. Server logs are kept for a short period, typically 30 days.
Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit with TLS. Access to systems holding client data is restricted to people who need it, protected by strong authentication, and logged. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you and any required regulator promptly.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to a data protection authority. To exercise any of these, email brandon@windishlabs.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will never charge you for making a request or treat you differently for having made one.
Children
This site is for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
